About Emerald Horizon Lawncare
Before starting Emerald Horizon Lawncare, I spent years in home remodeling in the Selma and Schertz area — and I kept hearing the same story from homeowners: their lawn care company ghosted them, did a lousy job, and disappeared. So I decided to do something about it. Growing up maintaining a full acre out in the country, I already knew the work. Emerald Horizon was built on what most lawn guys skip — actually treating homeowners like they matter. Three years later, that's still the whole game plan.

Our landscaping was in dire need of cleanup (weeds everywhere, grass overgrown into the rock beds, neglected garden planters and overgrown shrubs and bushes). Josh came out promptly to provide and quote and then got us scheduled quickly. They did great work, it looks a thousand times better! Very professional, great communication and an all around efficient process. Definitely recommend and we'll be using this company in the future for ongoing maintenance.

I had been unable to take care of our yard due to surgery and it got to the point where we were running inside the house because we were so embarrassed of our yard. Josh reached out after me contacting them and I explained our situation and also being so close to Mother’s Day asked if there was anyway to get us in the same week. He did and did an excellent job mowing and trimming. He did not try to upsell me on unnecessary services in fact quite the opposite explained what was happening to our yard and recommended different approaches. Josh also took the time to tidy up after the trimming and mowing. We have tried many other companies that just rush in here with their stand on mowers and then blow all the clippings all over the place. Not Emerald. Thank you Josh for your help and assistance.
